ABOUT

My writing career started in 1997 just before I graduated from UC Berkeley. Since then, my short stories have been widely published and anthologized. My essays, travel writing and criticism have appeared in a variety of small press publications and independent magazines. I was a general assignment journalist for a daily paper and freelanced as a trade-press writer, illustrator and web designer. Now I’m working on a novel. I live in Oakland, California, where I earn my living as a professional in association communications and public affairs. Learn more about me by following my blog.
